In a bizarre collaboration that defies traditional predictions, the game developer has unveiled an virtual collaboration between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the acclaimed anime series Attack on Titan. The unusual Thanksgiving event runs from November 25 through December 22, including complimentary additional story content for Shadows players.

Mysterious Adventure Uncovered

According to the authorized release, "An unusual meeting draws characters Naoe and Yasuke into a original quest, where rumors of banned rituals and monstrous transformations reverberate through the darkness." The storyline features a "strangely dressed woman named Ada" who assigns the characters with traveling into the Crystalline Cavern—a significant location from Attack on Titan—to rescue her companion from a hidden sect.

The adventure focuses on "bizarre experiments and a fearsome enemy" and is accessible to all players who have gained access to the Yasuke character.

Recognizable Places and Metamorphoses

The preview highlights the Subterranean Sanctuary from Attack on Titan reimagined as the Crystal Cave. This historic location was formerly where the Reiss royal family passed down the Founding Titan ability through ages. The trailer concludes with a powerful sequence showing a character, probably the hostage, morphing into a Titan that looms over Naoe and Yasuke.

Exclusive Prizes and Extra Content

Players who successfully complete the mission will acquire an unique katana alongside several objects secreted throughout the area in hidden chests. The update also features premium Attack on Titan item packs, featuring:

• Titan-inspired costume for Yasuke
• Mikasa attire for Naoe
• Unique implements
• Survey Corps mount

Third Free Story Addition

This update also introduces the game's newest free story content, titled "The Mystery."
